WELCOME TO ARKKI!Arkki, the Free Church congregation in Järvenpää, is a youthful and outgoing congregation. We are full of life and we provide activities for all age groups. We especially want to emphasize ministry among children, preteens and teens. We also want to build fellowship with various congregations in our town as well as nationwide. Teaching the Word of God and applying this practically in one’s daily life are our core values. Our goal is to proclaim the Good News about Jesus Christ in Järvenpää and to the ends of the earth. A variety of musical skills, international contacts and growing involvement in missions are characteristic to our congregation. We want to bless Israel and the Jews in particular, because our spiritual roots and the coming world events are tied with the Jewish nation, based on God's sovereign choice. Our congregation has fairly new premises on a strategic location beside the local high school and the Technical College. Right next door to Arkki is a sports hall which allows further space for organized events as well as opportunities to meet the general public. The best way to learn to know us? By coming to our weekly celebration on Sundays at 4pm! After the worship service you are welcome for a time of fellowship at our café. We are hoping that in the very near future we will be able to offer interpreting for English speaking people in our weekly celebration services. WELCOME! Pastor Paul Raja-aho |
